Card Tags

ArcaneMetriX attempts to categorize cards with a tagging system for easy retrieval. This tagging system allows you to sort your deck by functionality of the cards within it by selecting “Tags” in the sort dropdown.

Tags are just one section of the Card Detail Modal, which also covers prices, printings, rulings, and more.

Custom Deck Tags

The tagging system allows you to customize your own tags to easily view anything that you find to be important. To edit tags, you can open the modal with the edit button in the “Tags” section of either the card detail popup (by hovering a card) or the card detail modal (left clicking a card).

While in this new modal, you can simply type any desired tag into the input field and click the “+” button to add it to the card. Similarly, if you don’t want to see an existing tag pre-generated by ArcaneMetriX, you can remove it from the “Current Tags” section. When a deck is saved, any tag edits are saved along with it.

Making Tagging Better

The app does its best to categorize cards, but it turns out Magic is complex and we can sometimes tag cards incorrectly. However, there are a few things you can do about this.

• You can remove them and add your own custom tags as described above
• You can alert admins of tags that aren’t quite right by using the “Suggest Tags” button

If attempting to do the later you can either alert admins that a tag is incorrect and should be removed by clicking the “Remove” button on any of the currently applied tags. You can also suggest a new tag by selecting a category and a tag found in that category.
