Deck Statistics

Deck statistics is a tab that provides a comprehensive overview of your deck’s performance and characteristics. It is a great way to see how your deck is likely to perform and how it can be improved.

Stats Widgets

Each widget provides a different perspective on your deck’s performance and characteristics. Some of the widgets include:

  • Mana Curve: Shows the distribution of mana costs in your deck.
  • Color Distribution: Shows the distribution of colors in your deck.
  • Card Type Distribution: Shows the distribution of card types in your deck.
  • Reliability Diamond: Shows the values for the “four pillars of consistency” for decks. These are:
    • Tutors: Increases the probability of finding a specific card or combination of cards in the desired order.
    • Card Advantage: Similar to tutors, but card advantage does not guarantee the order of the cards. However, it increases the resources you have available to you.
    • Ramp: Increases the rate at which you can cast your spells.
    • Interaction: Allows for disruption of your opponents’ plans or protection of your own plans.
  • Deck Archetype: Shows the general archetype of your deck based on the number of cards tagged with specific types.

And many more! We’re constantly working on ways to think about how data can be used to represent the functional characteristics of a deck, so if you have any ideas, let us know!

Hover nodes in many of the widgets to see more information about the data being displayed.

Tip

Keep the numbers open while you cut. Shift+click Stats in the rail to dock it beside the deck: every add and cut redraws the curve, the color balance and the price as you make it, so you can steer by the shape you want instead of checking after the fact. See The Desktop Workspace.
