The Genome Visualization

The Genome Visualization gives users the ability to visualize the interactions between cards within their deck.

Understanding the Visualization

In the Genome Panel, you’ll see a web of connections:

• Synergy Links: These are represented by solid lines. The connected nodes are cards that have some synergy with one another. This can be many different kinds of synergies ranging from “Sacrifice Outlet” and “Death Trigger” to “Merfolk Tribal”.
• Combo Links: These are represented by dotted line. The connected nodes are the combo pieces identified.

Filtering

You can filter out synergies that you are not interested in seeing by using the Filters menu in the Genome’s command bar, which also carries the zoom control. The rest of its tools including focus mode, physics, fullscreen and PNG export can be found in the overflow menu beside it.

You can also display only the interactions you are interested in such as combos, synergies, or tutors.

Tip

Click on any node in the Genome web to focus the analysis on that specific card and its primary synergies.

Tip

The details follow the room they have. In a wide pane a focused card’s interactions open as a drawer down the right of the graph. In a narrow one (like when a Genome is docked in the side pane) they open along the bottom instead and take the full width, so the entries stay readable. Either way the graph pans so the card you focused stays clear of them.

Tip

Genome beside the deck. Shift+click Genome in the rail to dock it, then edit the deck on the right. The graph redraws as you cut and add, which makes it easy to see a cluster thin out or a new card join one. See The Desktop Workspace.
